When Holosync first arrived on the personal development scene it was considered a late 20th century innovation for self improvement. With improvements and updates Holosync is now looked upon as a 21st century marvel of personal growth. However, as the Holosync program has grown in popularity and prestige among self improvement circles so too has it come to the attention of those who are fearful of its powerful technology. There are forum posts and articles that outline the dangers of using brain entrainment, which is the technology behind Holosync, and create panic and fear in their readers.
What is Holosync?
Why are there so many fears around this technology and is it alright to question how Holosync works and even consider it to be dangerous?
In order to better understand the concerns raised about Holosync and its use of binaural beats it is necessary to consider exactly what Holosync is designed for and how it works.
Holosync works like any other brain entrainment tool in that it changes the brainwave frequencies of the person listening. Creating an Alpha, Theta or Delta state are typical reasons for listening to a brain entrainment track.
Specific brainwave states such as those previously mentioned offer a great amount of physical benefits. For example when you enter a deep, restful sleep you will be displaying Delta brainwaves, so listening to a delta recording will induce such a sleep.
Holosync differs from other brain entrainment tools in that they are designed to be used for just one specific state and can be used over and over again.
Holosync was designed not to be used as a stand-alone product but to be completed as a course for personal development.
Many people believe Holosync to be dangerous because of its internal workings. It is designed to re-surface negative memories and totally remove the negative emotions associated with them.
It is the re-surfacing of this negative that gives rise to fear in many people because it can create discomfort, disease and a certain degree of upheaval. This is perfectly normal and, in fact, necessary in order to become more conscious of the subconscious programs that have been affecting our lives for so long. Once conscious of them we then, through a natural and effortless internal process, let them go.
What about the Dangers?
So as far as anyone who is worried about the upheaval that is felt when using Holosync they should consider this normal. In fact it is something that is evident in extremely deep meditations performed traditionally. However, with traditional meditation the upheavals are usually less pronounced as it takes longer to achieve the same aims. Holosync is an accelerated personal growth tool!
Holosync has been designed to be used over a period of several years (yes that’s right years) with each stage of the program using more sophisticated recordings to uncover deeper levels of negativity.Although it takes several years to complete the full program, the benefits you get from each level remain permanent.
There are other posts on the Internet, which claim Holosync is dangerous yet they do not address any other form of brain entrainment or products that use binaural beats. One respected person who has made such claims is Michael Hutchinson. However, as far as Bill Harris creator of Holosync knows, Michael Hutchinson has never used his product. To add insult to injury he offers no proof or scientific basis for his negative assertions about Holosync.
In my humble opinion Mr Hutchinson should put his money where his mouth is and show us some evidence.
There is a stack of mounting evidence to support the belief that Holosync is a beneficial and powerful personal development tool. Yet there is little evidence to suggest it is dangerous. I would therefore advise you to do your own research and come up to your own conclusion as to whether Holosync is right for you or not!
